To make your experience as successful as possible, please know your return options:
You have seven (7) days from the date of sale to return the item(s) to LG. The item(s) must be in the original packaging, all parts, instructions, etc. must be present and item(s) CANNOT HAVE BEEN INSTALLED. Refund will be subject to inspection and approval. Refund will be returned in the same form payment was made. Cash sales will be refunded by check mailed to you on the next business day.
You have seven (7) days from the date you obtain the item(s) to request a return. If the items are not being installed right away it is recommended they are reviewed for accuracy and you are certain you plan to keep them. If you decide the item(s) is not for you, you may return them to the manufacturer on your own, and pay for the shipping back AFTER treceiving the necessary documentation from LG, or you can have LG ship them back on your behalf and you are responsible to pay the freight back. Keep in mind, items that ship by truck, are oversized, or come in several pieces, will all incur a freight charge which may be more expensive than ground services. Once LG receives a credit for the returned items, LG will refund you for the purchase price of the returned item(s) within ten (10) business days of receipt of the credit (less inbound freight charges). If LG does not receive a credit from the manufacturer based on their assessment tha the returned item(s) do not meet their criteria for returned goods, LG is not responsible to provide any credit to you. LG will inform you of the manufacturer's disposition.
Some manufacturers will not accept returned items. Your LG Sales Representative will inform you if you are considering an item(s) from such manufacturers. Additionally, items which are made to order, e.g., special sizing, special finishes, certain crystal types, specialized fabrics or other materials, and/or other specialized fabrications cannot be returned and this will be noted on your invoice.
Certain showroom samples are non-returnable and this will e noted on your invoice by an LG SAles REpresentative.
All of the above apply and in addition, you will be responsible for all restocking fees incurred from the manufacturer(s) for items returned and approved for credit.
An order will not be considered to have been initiated and estimated timeline benchmarks cannot be established until the following criteria have been met: (1) Required deposit has been received by Seller. (2) A signed copy of Order is received from Buyer.
All lead times are approximate and subject to change. Seller shall not be liable for loss or damage due to delay in manufacture or delivery, including but not limited to acts or omissions of the Buyer, acts of nature, acts of Government and its agencies, strikes, factory shutdowns or alterations, delays in transportation, or the inability to obtain necessary labor, manufacturing facilities or materials from the Seller's usual sources. In no event shall Seller be liable for special or consequential damages for any delay for any cause. Merchandise will ship when available provided that all required payments have been made.
It is Buyer’s responsibility to review and confirm the Order for accuracy. Instructions given verbally or in extraneous documents are not binding upon Seller unless they also appear on the signed Order. Any project changes by Buyer received by Seller after submission of signed approval may result in additional charges for Buyer.
Unless otherwise noted on quotation, all merchandise ships F.O.B. Origin, Freight Prepaid and Add. This means that Seller - pays freight charges and adds to invoice. Buyer - Bears freight charges. Seller - Owns goods in transit. Seller - files claims (if any.) Seller will use its best judgment in choosing the safest, most cost-effective manner for shipping and will not be liable for any delays or excessive transportation charges resulting from its selection.
Unless specifically stated on the Order, light bulbs and any additional parts (slope ceiling adaptors, additional chain or rod, remote controls, etc.) will not be included. If Buyer requires additional parts, Seller must be notified in writing. Additional charges will apply.
All packages and merchandise must be inspected thoroughly by Buyer in front of the driver before signing the Delivery Receipt. By signing the DR, or Delivery Receipt, Buyer is verifying the merchandise was received in good condition. Buyer must note significant details on the DR before signing, including but not limited to whether the shrink wrap is broken or missing from the palletized shipment, whether the merchandise is still palletized or delivered loose and/or whether the cartons look distressed in any way (cardboard dented, corners crushed, carton gouged, tape/seal broken, footprints on the box, etc.) Buyer must not rely on a verbal report to the driver. This action will prove to be invaluable if merchandise has been damaged in transit but the damage is not immediately apparent. Failure to
perform this duty may result in the rejection of damage claims.
Made to Order or installed merchandise may not be returned for any reason. Any other returns must receive expressed, written consent of Seller prior to return. Any returns will be subject to a 25% restocking fee and freight charges. Refunds/credits will be issued upon inspection of returned merchandise.
If Buyer requires any type of special socket rating labels, they must advise Seller in advance. Labels will only be provided by Seller, Buyer must have them installed on fixtures. Additional charges will apply for this service.
Unless otherwise stated, all items are offered with a one year warranty. Any qualifying defective item purchased from Seller that is returned within one year of purchase will be repaired or replaced at the company's discretion. Repairs for items that are still under warranty will be covered at no charge.
Items can be damaged during the shipping process or from time-to-time, something may arrive missing parts or components. All damages must be reported within 72 hours of delivery. Seller cannot be held responsible for any missing, or damaged goods if we are not notified within this time-period.
